The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) recently released a “frequently asked questions” document highlighting operational guidance and general information for states as they implement Medicaid RAC programs as mandated by Section 6411(a) of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Answered questions cover a wide range of topics including deadline ramifications, conflict of interest issues, and stakeholder concerns.
